In-house Professional Engineering

All of our solutions are tailored to both the client and project like a bespoke suit. As such, it all begins with our team of engineers understanding the client’s comfort, sustainability, and/or cost/payback preferences, as the client’s wishes will become our ultimate target.

Typically, a thermal model of the building or development is then created using specialised software to determine peak building heating and cooling loads, often on a room-by-room and hour-by-hour basis. Based on the results of this modelling and input from the client, we are able to determine the appropriate project scope.

As the project continues, key parameters of the system will be engineered and important details coordinated with the spatial limitations of the project.

This virtual design approach (often called BIM – or Building Information Modelling) maximises energy and space efficiency, minimises clashes with other trades, and ensures a high level of accuracy and product quality that is otherwise unattainable.

Whereas many of our competitors will attempt to design a system on-the-fly on site, our more complex systems are fully modelled beforehand in 3D.
